  1. I have now tested all three my multiplus units individually and found that only one of the units gives an error when I connect it to the mains supply. I guess the unit is faulty and will send it in for repairs. It would still be great if anyone knows what error step 7 and 5 means. Thanks
  2. We had a lot of rain here during the early morning hours of Wednesday which caused the Lourens river to overflow and which caused the Somerset West / Strand substation to completely flood. The substation tripped, leaving almost all of Somerset West and Strand without power. It took Eskom more than 24 hours to restore power to us. They apparently restored power by various means of switching things manually or re-routing power from other substations. The moment the power came back on on Thursday morning, my 3 x Multiplus II in single phase setup switched off the power and said #11 Grid relay test fault. I am still getting these faults if i try to switch on Eskom power to the system. This problem only started the moment they restored Eskom power after the flooding. I am wondering if there is something strange on the Eskom supply, or whether my multiplus II could have been damaged. I am getting these errors: "11 Grid relay test fault" Then if I go into VE.Bus Error 8 / 11 report I see: Phase L1, device 1 (0) #14 0xe00585 Phase L1, device 2 (3) #87 0xe800705 Phase L1, device 3 (6) #143 0xe00585 Then if I click on the 1st device 1: I get: BF safety test in progress, failing step: 5 Then if I click on the 1st device 2: I get: BF safety test in progress, failing step: 7 Then if I click on the 1st device 3: I get: BF safety test in progress, failing step: 5 Does anyone have a list that says what these errors mean? So failing at step 7 and step 5. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be the problem? Thank you
  3. Hi, can someone that knows the regulations for City of Cape Town explain to me the situation regarding using an Axpert inverter solely as a UPS (only batteries no solar panels). So the Axpert is used as a UPS for load shedding, but there are no solar panels. Is a COC from the electrician that installed it all that is required, or is something else also required to be compliant? Thanks
  4. Hi, I apologise, for some reason I didn't get any notifications on replys to this thread. The unit is still available. I want R11 000 for the unit. It is still in perfect working condition. Regards
  5. I have my SMA 7KW inverter for sale. I used it since I bought it in middle 2015. The unit is working perfectly, but I completely changed my setup so this unit is now for sale. See specification here: http://files.sma.de/dl/5695/SMC8000TL-DEN102330.pdf
