Noobie
Whenever we have a power failure at home (its often as there is construction in the area) I can't boil the kettle and have a cup of coffee because my inverter is not big enough to handle the load So I ordered a little kettle on Takealot for R275 https://www.takealot.com/mellerware-piccolo-mini-cordless-kettle-white/PLID36957259 It works well on my inverter and only pulls about 1160watts Hope this helps anyone looking for a kettle with a small element. Don
A Snappy Chef Induction stove also works well. You can select anything from 200W - 2000W, depending on how long you are prepared to wait for the water to boil. Chris Hobson
___
I saw this a cute little kettle in the hotel in The Netherlands. If I could get that in a low-power version... :-)
