Since SunSynk does not notify its clients of new firmware releases, I would like to start a thread and track the latest release versions of the firmware for the SunSynk models specifically. So, currently I have installed SunSynk 5kW: COMM:e41c - MCU:3367 Please post your inverter model and firmware version, if you see that you are running a newer version than the last one reported in this thread.

Good day all, I had a Deye 8kw inverter, 3x 4.8kw Dyness batteries and 10x Canadian Solar 545w panels installed 3 months ago. Yesterday the logger stopped working and when I went to check the inverter the screen was blank and no lights switched on, however the inverter is functioning properly, doing its job otherwise. I tried resetting the system by switching the inverter off, switching DC off, pulling the fuse between the batteries and inverter and switching the house over to grid only for an hour for an hour then switching it back on. The inverter screen came on and lights came on and logger lights came on, but only for a few seconds, then went dark again…

Good day Everyone, I purchased and installed 2 x 6kVA Lux Power inverters and install them a year ago (2025-07-26). The two inverters are working in parallel. A month ago I noticed that the voltage on the display indicated 120 V (on Both inverters from the solar panel strings) (this was at 09:30 on a clear sunny day). The charging of the batteries was also slow. I isolated the solar string and switched it back on and the voltage jumped to 288 V on the display. The battery charging doubled immediately. I did the same on the other inverter with the same result. We installed a 6kVA at my daughters house and they complained that their system do not fully charge the batteries.…

In the Atlasville, Boksburg area, is there a credible installer who can help with the below: I have an existing 5kW Sunsynk inverter with 14 panels. I want to reroute my standard geyser to the Auxiliary/Smart Load port on my Sunsynk so it only heats using excess solar power once my battery is charged. I need an electrician to handle the DB board rewiring and program the Sunsynk's Aux Load settings.

Hallo, Anyone with some advice? As per title - Sunsynk 5kW inverter not working - no LCD, no LED lights Seems the inverter only passes the AC through, the battery does not get charged and seems there is no PV power. I have done a couple of restarts: Switch off PV, AC, battery and then remove battery comms cable. Wait a couple of hours. When the inverter starts up, the screen comes on but flickers, then the inverter is dead. About 5 months or so ago, the WiFi Dongle stopped working. Not sure if this is related.

Hello everyone, Based on the frequent need for firmware of VM III TWIN and VM IV TWIN, and as I also own a VM IV TWIN 4kW; I aim for this thread to gather all available main firmware, which is always referred to by the names (DSP / Main CPU / U1), for the aforementioned two models specifically. This thread will always be open to newer and future firmware contributed by all members. Please note that firmware for these two models always seem to be interchangeable, so far at least. In this thread, you will find more posts by me containing attached HEX File Only Packages of (DSP / Main CPU / U1) firmware. Each package contains an extracted HEX file only from each fi…

I bought 2 x BMS JK-PB2A16S-15P for my two batteries and I wanted to connect them to my Voltronic Axpert VMIII 3kW-24V inverter. I found that in the menu in item 05 I only have 3 items, namely AGM, FLD and USE, there is no Pylontech and nothing else. I have the inverter connected via RPi4 to Solar Assistant, where in the settings I can change the type of battery connected to the inverter, but I don't think anything will change in the inverter, because there are no similar settings in its menu. I have attached the label on the inverter, with U1 being 20.58, U2 being 01.12 and U3 being 00.21. Can anyone recommend an update for my inverter so that I can connect it to the men…

Hi, This is my first attempt to repair a DEYE inverter. I fed with 50V battery voltage and pressed the button ON, however it is not turning ON, and I noticed the LEDs on control board flashed for milliseconds periodically (it seems like failing to start). I found out some IGBTs are shorted out, so I had to replace them and their gate drivers. Now I have the startup issue only. Can anyone advise where to start to check the possible reason for this failure? You can find below the inverter board as a reference

Dear users of this magnificent forum, I suspect that my COM module could be broken. Solar Assistant cannot show any inverter port since the 10 last hours. THE TWO CABLES WERE THE PROBLEM Before, there was connection for all the previous life of the inverter, but, since I had to go and there was so much load at night, to prevent to run out of battery, I wanted to stop the inverter. I had to modify the Cut-Off value through WatchPower app, I have been doing that every time I forget something with a huge load and I cannot stop it physically. Once at home, I re-started the system and everything went well, until a couple of hours later... I saw I had no inverter readings throu…

Good Day All I have 2 x Growatt SPF 600es PLus inverters + 4 x Shoto SDC10-Box5 batteries which is giving me endless hassles. I am unable to get proper comms running between the inverters and batteries and following all instructions in the manuals and google searches is not seeming to assist. Battery 1 : Dip Switch 5 is turned on, and inverter is set to Lithium program 51 which them sort of gives me comms. but i do occasionally have instances whereby the batteries would just switch off randomly during the night. What is the correct dip switches for the batteries and inverter settings to get them to communicate properly. I also have solar assistant, which I want idea…

Good day all, perhaps someone can shed some light wrt my issue. I recently installed a 8.8 Sunsynk with 2 x 5.5 kw hubbles, since day one random data logger offline? The data logger connects and disconnects at random. Wifi signal is good, router approx 5 meters away, and data logger shows good signal. I cant determine where fault lies. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks! K

Hi Everyone. So I've had a perfectly working system for a while with this inverter with 2x Shoto batteries. Yesterday we added another battery. The dip switches were changed as per the attached image, batteries reset and the new RS485 cable attached. The inverter is however still reading 200ah capacity, not 300. What else could be the issue here? We tried other network patch cables and swapped them around, nothing seems to update the reading. With the two batts, on the first bat (master) the RS485B was linked to the A port of the 2nd bat, So we repeated this pattern, but also swapped it around to see if it makes a difference. Anything we might be doing wrong? Any help wou…

We recently installed a SUN-50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM4 with a Sunwoda Oasis 60, model number CIESS 60. The battery is on the approved list we could find on the Deye website and vice versa the inverter is listed as supported on Sunwoda. When the communications cable is plugged in the inverter lights and screen flash in a "on-off" cycle and this bug stops the inverter starting up. The inverter runs fine on voltage control so it is linked to the BMS communication. Updating both the Sunwoda and the Deye brought no improvement. We have been in contact with Deye service technicians and fortunately were able to identify an older firmware version that is compatible by referencing a coll…

I would massively appreciate help in getting my Deye single phase 5kw inverter to communicate with my ESP32 board (LILYGO T-CAN485). Some background: The board is labelled "XY_32_CAN+RS485 V1.1" (2024-04-25). The pin map shows RS485_RX is IO21 and RS485_TX is IO22. RS485_EN is IO17 and RS485_SE is IO19. The chip on it reads MAX13487. Deye inverter model is SUN-5K-SG01LP1-EU. It has has five ports and I'm using RS485 METER. The others are BMS485/CAN (for the battery), DRMs (not sure) and parallel 1 and 2 (presume for other batteries). The Deye screen shows Modbus SN 01; it also has "slave" checked (as opposed to master) but I assume this is not relevant for single inverter…

My inverter is installed in my garage and during summer it gets quite hot in Bloemfontein. When you park a hot car in there it gets even hotter. I realized the Inverter DC side reached temperatures of near 90 degrees during midday. I installed 3 x 120mm computer fans on top with a temperature controller switching the fans on and off. The thermistor is attached to the heatsink. The heatsink temperature is about 20 degrees below the internal temperature indicating by the app. With the fans the temperature stays below 60 degrees. I 3D printed the bracket and bought the temperature controller from an online store for under R200 with a 12V powersupply. Is anybody is inter…

Hello, I would like to ask about the possibility of modifying / patching the firmware for my Axpert MAX / MAX II 8000 inverter. My current firmware versions are: U1: 72.03 U2: 112.15 U3: 00.00 Model name: MKS2-8000 What I am mainly looking for is a modification of several battery-related parameter ranges, because I am using a custom battery pack with a higher voltage range than the standard 48 V settings allow. The first parameter I would like to change is the low DC cut-off voltage range. At the moment, the inverter allows this setting only from approximately: 42.0 V to 48.0 V For my custom battery, I would need to be able to set this value to around: 52.0 V and ideally …
