  1. Yep, I'm using @iiznh's dongle. For R700 it was a no brainer and basically plug & play.
  2. Similar hardware maybe, but he did mention on his thread that he’s written his own firmware for it.
  3. Bastards. Got mine setup very easily and it’s been amazing so far, thanks. Being able to automate the schedule via Home Assistant for example has been a game changer for me.
  4. Slight change on the input current on the newer models:
  5. Just a quick update - great service from Romtech. Battery arrived today via Courier Guy. Also, there are 2x 2050mm cables in the box, as well as the short ones.
  6. Thanks, yep definitely too short, so I’d need to make new ones up. The batteries will be installed side by side.
  7. Thanks, time is a bit scarce at the moment, and it's a 100km drive to the suppliers so it's a bit tricky. I was also looking at Solar and Inverter warehouse, their prices are about the same but I was hoping to order from Romtech because they've got some other things I need as well. Thanks, I'll drop them all a mail and hopefully, they can tell me what's in the box.
  8. Hi 1)Has anyone dealt with Romtech before, are they reputable? Looking at buying a battery from them. Any other suppliers I should be looking at? I'm in Centurion. 2)Anyone knows what comes in the box of a Dyness BX51100 battery? This will be an additional battery, so I'm hoping the DC cables and maybe an ethernet cable would be included. Thanks
  9. Quick update. So I've had zero issues with the Mecer 200AH + RCT Axpert 1kw combo, and only managed to run it down once recently when I accidentally bumped the power plug out of its socket without noticing. Upgrading to a fully installed Deye system now, but I can HIGHLY recommend this for running TV and other electronics, I even had a fridge/freezer connected to it. The only caveat is that it's VERY noisy, so it needs to be installed in a garage or far away from people.
