  1. I beg to differ. Have 6 of those inverters, they do not behave properly in many situations like switching to grid for no reason. SolarPower24 has refused to provideany new firmware or adequate assistance up to date.
  2. Just created a cable for the CAN/A port i.e. Inverter -> BATT PIN 6 -> PIN 4 PIN 7 -> PIN 5 PIN 8 -> PIN 6 And all I get is blinking red and lost communication
  3. Single pack, 2 groups, 4 groups. all kind of combinations have different outcomes in a sense how they find and communicate with each other BUT all cap at 100A. Right now I have the original Axpert BMS cable going to CAN on the 1st (Master battery) of the 16 stack and all of the rest are daisychaned though link1/link0 all the way down... still 100A.. The manufacturer is voltronic... they have no clue and blame Pylontech not allowing more than 100Amps...
  4. There is some sort of miscommunication here... The way it goes here is, no matter the normal load without the battery charging, the PV works at its maximum for that load, lets say 1kW... so far so good. if I allow charging of the batteries, it jumps to up to 100A (if there is sun during peak sun hours) for the batteries and stops at 100A charging. Availability of more energy to pump more than 100A is visible in my screenshot between 11:45 and 2:45. I've turned an oven to show that 8kW+ is there but the moment i turn it off this energy is not used to charge the batteries and they are still capped. I can reach over 8kW and close to 9Kw. I can use this energy to turn on an oven or a boiler and the PV would jump up to 9kW and the moment i cut off that device, the battery charging will adjust again to max 100A if below due to the load and wont jump beyond that even if there is headroom and energy can be used from the PV...
  5. It is not, the available power is over 8kw at that specific time. The batteries cap at 100Amps. Whatever is load tops it off, but the rest 2.5kW up to the AVAILABLE power is unutilized. The screenshots are within 3 minutes. The batteries STOP at 100AMPs while they can easily go up to 8.7kW or well over 150AMPs That is indeed the problem! I've ramp up the usage so I can show that the PV energy is THERE, but the invertor is not supplying them to the batteries and cuts it off at 100Amps. This difference of 2500W is artificial, I've just turned on an oven so you can see how this is not utilized properly. If I turn it off, the charging adjusts again to 100A and PV drops to 6200W
  6. The batteries are currently connected exactly like this i.e. 16 batteries where the first one is a master and its CAN goes to the inverter at 9600, then from the first battery LINK 1 goes to second's LINK 0 and so on and so on until the 16th battery. There are currently 8 pairs of cables going each two batteries to the busbars with fuses of 125A on each plus. In other words each cable wont carry more than 74Amps. The batteries and the BMS properly report 592A charging and discharging and the invertor is properly set to max charging (PV + AC) to 150A, while AC is limited to 2A and the discharging to 150Amps. Still no luck. As for: "Your inverter has CAN so just connect the CAN lead between the master battery link port 0 and the inverter. (pins 4 and 5 on the battery and 6 and 7 on the inverter. Pin 6 to 8 if your connecting the Gnd). Pins 1-3 on the battery must NOT be connected." Can you elaborate? I am using the inverters cable from the BMS to the CAN port of the master. Do you have schematics of this different wiring?
  7. I have 9100W of panels that reach between 4.5kW and 9kW during the day. Peak of solar production has been 57.1kW one day (batteries + other heavy consumption). With 150AMPs charging vs 100A during the 3.5 hours I can charge them at 150, rather than at 100, i would be charging them 50% faster during this period but this doesn't happen!
  8. You are not paying attention.
  9. The US3000C batteries have an option to be set into banks / groups (up to 6) via RS485 or just have 1 group with 16 batteries. Obviously if it is one group you connect the CAN to the inverter's BMS and you see them all and it limits the 16x batteries to 100A as that is the maximum per bank/group or whatever you want to call them. No need for LV-Hub to make this happen with US3000C as per the manual. Given that the inverter wont work on 115200 the first dip swtich is set to 9600 and is on ON. So far so good. Then I need more than 100 Amps as the invertor support discharging up to 150A or charging up to 150A and 16 batteries should not have ANY issue supporting that. The options i.e. according to the manual you connect 1st battery to the BMS of the invertor to the CAN, then the RS485 of the first battery goes to the CAN of the second master battery's RS485 and the same between the second and the third and the third and the forth. The batteries within each banks are connected properly via link 0/1 and there are multiple Pylon 125A cables going to a bus bar to the invertor. The bus bar is properly set with fuses at 125A per 'bank'. When i turn on the batteries with all dip switches AS described in the manual i.e R0XX which is essentially 1000 for me (according to some dumb post the XX means zeros and considering that the dip switches are reversed, R is for rate i.e. 1, 0 is 0, then XX is also 00 thus 1000) everything gets discovered itself i.e. 1st master beeps 3 times after the next and the next and the next group is discovered. It works, the invertor sees the proper SOC of all batteries combined, they charge and discharge in parallel but neither never goes beyond 100A. It jumps to 111 sometimes, for a second then adjusts down to 100A and stays flat. Then I moved to the second scenario i.e. the US3000B route with the dip switches i.e. First master 1100, second 1110, third 1010 and forth 1001. Rest of dip switches iwthin the banks set to 1000 or 0000 (doesnt matter, tried both). Same thing, the first master beeps 3 times upon discovering each of the next groups. and it works and charges up to 102A then adjusts down to 100A. I connected then a computer with batteryview to each battery. It never reaches the point that it triggers down due to overcurrent or temperature fault. No fault on any of the batteries with either of those, but I cant get a proper 150AMPs out of this system. Then I decided to go hardcode the pylon settings to the invertor as per the documentation and this forum on USE. No diference. The invertor is AXPERT MAX II 10000KW which is a beefed up version of AXPERT MAX II 8000, both of which have up to 150 charging and discharging of batts. When I do a configuration of 2x 8 batts just for the hell of it i.e. group 1 and group 2... the results are no different. Please advise
  10. Hi Everyone, Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have 16 x US3000C batteries, connected in 4 groups via 4 sets of cables to 1 busbar with 4 x 125A fuses, which is connected to an Axpert MAX II 10Kw via 75mm2 flex cable. I have tried any possible scenario to get these batteries to charge or discharge over 100Amps to no avail. Batteries were set with dip switches 1100 1110 1010 1001 on all masters. All slaves were off. Then All batteries were 1000 dip switches (as per the documentation of the US3000C). No errors from the batteries. I even turned each group on with delays to hear the 3 beeps from the master group after adding a group... no difference. As I have a massive bank, I need it to charge not in 7 but in 3.5-4 hours and this is really getting me truly irritated. the invertor shows properly 150A charging and discharging current via its respective progrma. Regardless of the available solar capacity (solar panels are total of 9.1kw) these batteries/invertor refuse to charge over 100A https://voltronicpower.com/content/download/Brochure/Axpert_MAX II_(8KW)_DS.pdf (this is the invertor but it is 10kW, made for SolarPower24). In any case it is listed as 150amp/charging. I am attaching 2 photos. They are done within 3 minutes time as you can see. The solar capacity is there and can be used with AC load but the battery charging is limited to 100Amps.. Thanks
