  1. P.s Great for Ev conversion or very light weight battery for mobile applications . If setup correctly they are by far the most energy dense . Lifepo4 5Kwh = 45 Kg 2 x modules in 5Kwh = 24 Kg big difference . lots of high voltage powerwalls being made in First world countries using EV batteries too ... gaining lots of traction .
  2. Indeed like any lithium chemistry if you dont look after them they wont look after you . These are Prismatic cells for reference ..
  3. They are 6s config so 22.2v some modules do have a Board installed roughly 50% have pass through cables and the other have pcb boards installed . The module is super light coming in at 12Kg . so thats almost 5Kwh for 24Kg weight .
  4. Item: VDA 355 Modules for sale from a low mileage EV each module has 6 cells in series they conform to the VDA 355 standard great for Ev conversions of classic cars or energy storage . Cells are CATL with aluminium casing and plastic lid that can be removed . Some have the BMS Board attached some dont . The bms units have a LTC chipset for 18 cells but of course each bms will be wired into 12 cells . BMU and contactor box can be arranged for those wishing to build the full battery which is 18 Modules (44Kwh )
  6. Cells are still in the complete pack sitting on a pallet outside .. they are from the generation 2013/4 model of nissan leaf
  7. They come as cells only no bms on a nissan leaf battery no way of knowing how many cycles its done i cant offer that information . I can only offer leaf spy shots showing the SOC and SOH of the batteries in their complete state.
  8. for sale Nissan leaf battery for sale comes as 96 cells or 48 modules each module is 2series1p 7.4v . For the Diyer this would be super as they can add built portable storage and works great in 14s for 48v . Cells are supplied in Johannesburg can be sold as a lot and or sold as individual cells . 11. interested is it one unit ? or do you have two ?
  12. correct not a multiplus II this unit handles alot more power and overload in a more stable manner in my opinion the II has anti islanding but being a smaller unit it doesnt handle overload so well and hence i prefer to recommend this unit instead .
  13. 14. Built a Battery as one of my first in Nov 2015 and installed . 10Kwh Been cycling to 80% sometimes 90% since then running an Orion BMS (hate them ) unknown cycles will check when i get around to the client this year . Cells are Sinopoly .! My inception back when Elon first came out with his cleverness i decided to give it and try and have not looked back since . Now designed our own BMS systems that are much easier to work with ...
  15. Thanks Very much agree with you the rs485 is horrible and cumbersome very counter intuitive . The canbus how ever is much better . What do hubble lithium batteries use for battery to battery communication ?
  16. I think this information is rather misleading . Voltronic have not dropped the Lib protocol and their latest communication states that its still in use . The latest firmware version reflects that the Lib protocol is still present in the Menu on the Axpert King .
