I must correct myself. After updating to version 3384, a new option appeared. Settings -> Battery -> Page 2 -> Low Noise mode Enabling this setting shuts the inverter down, "Grid Mode changed" appears on the screen and after roughly 1 minute it turned on again. Now the frequency is moved from audible 15 kHz to barely audible 20 kHz. This is a very huge improvement.

I think, i might found why we have that issue. I once stumbled over a block diagram of how the inverter is put together. If that is true, its a hard design flaw, that the AC EMI filter is only on on the grid, but not the Load output.

But how? I sent a E-Mail to [email protected] a week ago and got no reply.

Not so great news for Deye inverter users. I'm running 3384 and still have the 15kHz hiss.

There are a few new settings under the Battery section, something along the lines of "Quite Mode" is what you are looking for, to change it from 15kHz to 20Khz. Update file and manual, to update from 3382 to 3384 only for the specified inverter model.
