  1. In my case, it takes 1-3 sec for it to ramp up and voila! error 08. Had a shutdown around ~9:30AM on 26th. This might be useful. QPIGS raw log(timestamped) leading upto the error and 5min later when i restarted it manually.   2. Hi guys, Noticed yesterday in my inverter logs that loads dropped to 0% around 3:30-4:00PM. Upon further inspection, it seems the inverter sent 0 readings for load/apparent power/real power while other readings were all normal. During this time, there was most definitely load of >200-300W because 2-3 fans, refrigerator and my workstation was on.   3. @Coulomb Actually, I've had this strange behavior with my Axpert VMII as well now. At first I couldn't understand why it would start for a sec or two and then turn off (this is after I try starting the inverter back up after error 08) and then randomly found out that it only starts (at least for me) when I give it PV (shift PV string from on-grid inverter to vmII) and when it is properly up and running (takes a few seconds). I can shift the PV string back to my on-grid inverter. For some odd reason, it doesn't start with grid or battery.
  4. If it makes sense, PV is disconnected from the inverter via a magnetic contactor. I have a net metering setup and the PV strings primarily go to the on-grid inverter and only when there is a grid outage does the PV gets switched over/connected to the axpert inverter. Primary role of the axpert at my place is to act as a UPS which it is failing at lol
  5. I have to mention error 08 is happening with my inverter with PV disconnected.

  7. It is weird and this is the first time it has happened in months. Also, I have 24x2V Shoto cells instead of 4x12V lead acid batteries.

If it was, it makes no sense at all, everything else seems/looks normal. p.s It hasn't happened again since yesterday. Moreover, I disabled battery charging during the day (they weren't being used anyways) and re-enabled charge from utility at night @ 2A only.
  9. So, an update to the above. "Bus over" fault occurred again few hrs later and at that time there weren't any issues with utility and PV was disconnected as well.   10. I have an Axpert VMII 5kva and got the "Bus Over" fault today (this happened a couple of times last year and the first time this year), not sure if it is related to this thread. Today this happened when utility went out for 15min and when utility came back, loads were anywhere from 300-500W during this time and battery was at 100%. The inverter is approx 2.5yrs old so out of warranty now

  13. Bumping this old thread...My Axpert VMII's (5Kva) comm card stopped working (USB & RS232). Opened it up yesterday and looks like its gone. Looking for a replacement part but it doesn't seem to be available locally with the Axpert distributors here. Would appreciate any leads @Coulomb @plonkster @Mars Here's the image of my comm card
  14. Interestingly, I had a power outage (no mains) and I turned the inverter back on via the inverter button and it started up normally and then shifted my load on it (no issues) and when mains came back, it shifted normally Thanks for replying I'll keep that in mind if it happens again.
  15. Hi, I've a Axpert VMII 5KVA. I had to shut if off (followed proper procedure to turn it off) and now I am having a strange issue with it. Whenever I try to switch it on, the inverter starts, lcd lights up and within 2-3 seconds it turns off again. The same repeats over & over again when I turn the inverter power button off and back on. Any ideas?
