MOST IMPORTANT RULE for firmware upgrade/update: IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX (if you have to get professional to do)
Dead Pylontech- How to bring pylontech back to life after corrupt or failed firmware update setp-by-step
1.Confirm the dip switches are 1-0-0-0 with battery off
2.Plug in debug cable/firmware upgrade cable
    3.Run Upgrade Tool
4.On Upgrade Tool make a tick by immediate update and then click connect (should say connected)
5.Click on browse to .bin file and choose  (HAS TO BE .BIN NOT .ZIP FILE) for me *_nt_*.bin one worked
    6.Press “program” on Upgrade Tool
7.Quick switch on battery (hold the red button in and then switch on the main switch, you can release the red button after switch on)
Upgrade Tool should say Get in bootloader mode
Upgrade should load and battery should switch back on (if not start again from step 4)
My mistake I unzipped firmware when using BatteryView to upgrade
DO NOT unzip firmware file for BatteryView Upgrade. Region settings on computer needs to be Uinted States
Hope this helps/makes someones life easier coz it took me a while to figure out

As long as you dont exceed 500VDC per string to be safe you should be good.
On the 9+4 the 325w will work at 320w only meaning you will loss 45w which is minimal.

My observation: From the pic i noticed that you put US2000C as first and last. They should be first and second (1.us2000c,2.us2000c,3.us2000,4.us2000,5.us2000)
IMO Setting for User bulk, absorption, float 51.8v and charge current should not exceed 125amps for entire battery bank (25amps/batt)
FYI You can also try upgrading the firmware on all the batteries

We also have a battery test document that can be tested and completed by the battery OEM and submitted through our local SA service center for compatibility. You can send requests to [email protected].
I have attached the latest battery compatibility list for your information. Hubble AM2/AM5 etc is compatible but this list just has not been updated yet.

Not sure if this is the best practice but I would disconnect the two US3000 and charge UP5000 to 70%. Then connect UP5000 and the one US3000 that is on 70% and charge the two to 98%. Then connect all batteries and monitor

SYC got a reaction from Jazzy in Mixed pylontech US3000b with UP 5000
Being an installer I have 1x us2000 2x us3000 1x us3000C and 2x UP5000 all in one bank working fine see pic below
    From the pylontech manual verbatum:
    15) Compatible with the US3000C, US2000C, US3000, and US2000.
    *Mixture using master battery priority:
    UP5000>US3000C>US2000C>US3000>US2000
For same type of module always use the latest production unit as master.
    *Mixture using battery deployment option:
    Master battery (1st) UP5000
    Slave 2nd ~8th UP5000/US3000C/US2000C/US3000/US2000
    Slave 9th ~16th UP5000/US3000C/US2000C
Please take note of order of batteries above if and when stacking.
They all are 15 cells i'm pretty sure
Only down site is the you need to limit your draw to the smallest battery in your bank
Mine the max I can draw is 1.9kw continuously because of US2000 (FYI lithium batteries work well between 95%-35%)
1st ALL Batteries "HAVE TO BE Balanced" or else you will get an alarm on batteries
Inverter MUST communicate with Master batteries BMS

    Good day Rinelda and welcome.
I use a Victron Multiplus II and it is amazing. P1000's reply above is taking a jab at Victron because they are generally more expensive than similar product offerings from other companies but the warranty, support, online community, software, firmware updates etc. still tips the balance in their favour in my opinion.
Please give us details of your installation for us to make a more informed recommendation regarding the MPII.

Earth leakage is usually wired up after the inverter.
Tripping when load shedding starts/stops is usually an indication of a floating neutral.

My Goodwe runs my UP5000 mixed together with 3000 and 3000C and 2000Plus', basically a mix and match of Pylons collected over the years, NO PROBLEM!
Telling the inverter what battery you have literally just sets an additional level of charge / discharge and DOD limits over and above BMS comms (at least I don't see any other advantage to setting the exact same battery type in Goodwe settings, maybe someone can correct me on this?).
I.o.w. what @P1000 mentioned is correct, a single UP5000 has the same charge / discharge current limits as two US2000 (doesn't matter normal or C).
If, for example, you have a UP5000 (50A max) mixed with a single US3000 (37A max) giving you a combined max 87A charge/discharge, set the Goodwe to 3x US2000, thereby setting max 75A; slighly lower but helps with the longevity of your batteries 😉

🤔 This relay should not be connected to grid neutral at all. Only inverter output and earth spike, so that when grid is off, your output neutral of inverter is earthed. Input and output neutrals as far as I know must be separated
Exactly what @Sc00bs said floating neutral
