Thank you so much, nothing wrong with that, looks good. -
Hello everyone, just a simple question that I have to ask please. I installed the system at home myself, and then just got an electrician to do the AC side for me and give me a COC. Likewise, at my son-in-law's houses, we followed the same procedure. What do I need to qualify as an installer, do you have to be an electrician or can I go for a certificate somewhere so that I can do it later? After my retirement of course, if possible. Can someone please point me in the right direction? And secondly, what does it mean when they say that someone is coming to inspect the system and sign it off? And is a COC alone sufficient or what else do you give to the client after the full installation is completed? Thank you.

Morning all, after a lengthy struggle to establish communication between my Kodak inverters and batteries, I purchased a Raspberry 2 Model B. With Solar-Assistant, I managed to retrieve some data from my inverters. I also ordered a Shoto/Rentech RS485 cable and, following the instructions, connected it to the Raspberry, resetting the dip switches — Main on 1, 2nd on 2, and 3rd one on 1,2. However, I don't receive any information from my batteries. Here are the settings on the Raspberry: Settings: Battery USB Serial RS 232/485 and Port USBO FT232R USB UART. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks both of you, BritishRacingGreen andCoulomb, I will give feedback as soon as I get to the root off the problem. Our Incoming AC has been a big problem all the time. This morning it fluctuated between 180 and 200v. Its a headache, its still not sorted out.

Hi All, Need some help please. I do have 2x5.6 Kodak inverters in Parallel, and the new thing during Load shedding is that the Master switches to Slave and Slave to Master. Do I have to reset both (cant remember what I have done) to get it back to normal. There was a post on the forum, but I cant find it. Thanks

Morning All, need some advise please. I do have 2 Kodak 5.6 in Parallel, connected to 3x 100Ah Shoto 4.8 batteries. The Problem is that during Load shedding I will get a 04 error code, what I think its a battery Low Warning. But on Inverter Screen in shows 48.2V and battery Led,s (all 4 of them are green). I don't know if the settings are wrong, any ideas please. Thanks

Morning There, just to clarify the above post. It was the idea of a Qualified Electrician to do this. It worked for me. So If we are wrong, pleas tell me. Thanks

Hi All, I managed to get mine sorted out. The only thing that I have changed was to remove all neutrals from my main input neutral, because it is linked with the earth.( in my DP Box). So I linked the other ones together on a bus bar. It is working fine, and didn't trip after this. Thanks

Hi There. I do have 3xSDA10-48100L5 Shoto Lithium Batteries, and 2x 5.6 Off grid Inverters linked together. The one is a newer one than the other, and i dont now whats the Firmware, on both (had Mecer before, and I'm battling to set up the WiFi). Both Master and slave are set to USE. What I have done in the meantime is to separate the Neutrals from the main incoming neutral, and it seem to work fine. No problems after that. Thank You

Hi Coulomb, by switching off I mean its off, dead, with the on and off switch still in the on position. Then i have to switch it to the off position. and then on again, to get it back to life. Thanks

Hallo All, The Code thats flashing on the Master is a HS, and according to the manual it indicates that's the Master unit. Another problem that happens mostly at night, but also at day time, during load shedding is, the Slave switches off, and stays off until theirs Utility. Now, I do have my Setting 01 on SUB, 12 on 51V, and 13 on 53V. My PV are only connected to my Master, can someone help please. Thanks I have 2x 5.6kva Kodak inverters in Parallel.

Hi all, I picked up my Inverter last week and connected it with the other one in Parallel. Both are working fine, the left hand one shows a Flashing SL, I think thats for Slave, but the right hand one shows a Flashing F5, but I cant see the MASTER sign. I don't know if I miss something, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
