Hi everyone, I have asked for help twice before, unfortunately without receiving any response or assistance from the group. My first post was on 29 July, and I posted again on 5 August. I now have a more serious problem. One of my five Shoto 4.8 kWh 100 Ah batteries has stopped working because of a severe cell imbalance. The BMS has gone into protection and the battery will neither charge nor discharge. I am asking once again, please, if there is anyone in this group who has experience with these Shoto batteries and knows how to reset, recover, balance, or repair this battery, I would really appreciate your help. At the moment I simply cannot afford to replace the battery, so I am hoping that someone with the necessary knowledge and experience can guide me or help me get it working again. If anyone knows a technician who repairs Shoto lithium batteries, I would also greatly appreciate their contact details. Please help me if you can. Thank you very much.

Hello everyone, I'm kindly asking for help once again. I believe someone in this group is using Solar Assistant, and I'm also hoping that someone has experience with Shoto 4.8 kWh 100 Ah batteries together with Kodak inverters. I would really appreciate some advice on two things: The correct inverter settings to make the best use of my solar system and reduce my electricity costs. How to correctly set up and configure my battery BMS through my Raspberry Pi 2 running Solar Assistant. My electricity bill is becoming far too expensive, so I'm trying to optimize my system as much as possible. I would sincerely appreciate any guidance or recommendations from someone with experience using a similar setup. Please refer to my previous post for the full details of my system. Hi Everyone, My solar system consists of 2 × 5.6 kW 48 V Kodak inverters connected in parallel, 5 × 4.8 kWh 100 Ah Shoto lithium batteries, and 12 × 475 W solar panels. Firstly, I would like to make as much use as possible of my batteries and solar panels in order to reduce my electricity costs. I am currently using a Raspberry Pi 2 running Solar Assistant software. Secondly, I would like to ensure that all my inverter and battery settings are correct, especially since two additional batteries were added later. Thirdly, I would like to connect to my battery BMS. I have already connected it through the Raspberry Pi, but Solar Assistant only detects Battery 1 and Battery 2, and not the other three batteries. Could it be that my DIP switch settings are incorrect? I would really appreciate any help or guidance you can provide. Thank you very much.

Hi, no one seems to be answering me, so I found the problem myself. I used an external power supply (10 V) and discovered that the driver transistors were faulty. I replaced them, and everything is working fine now. Thanks

Hello all, I need some advice regarding a Mecer 5 kVA inverter. I have a problem on the main power supply where the −12 V rail is drawing a lot of current and drops down to about 4.5 V. It is very difficult to trace the fault without a proper circuit diagram. Can anyone please help me? Thanks.

Hello all, After having no power from Sunday until today, the inverters have been working a lot, relying on solar and batteries until the cut-off voltage reached 44V. I then recharged the system the next day using a generator and later with solar. This morning, I noticed that battery number 3 is not charging. The first green light is on, while the last two (red and green) are flashing. I need some advice, please. Thanks!

We have replaced the Mecer(Lightning) with a Luxpower, and there is one Raystech 51.2 Battery, with 4X 500W Solar Panels in Series. When you switch of AC Grid, it doesn't switch to Battery, it doesnt switch over at all. Please help. Thanks.

Hello everyone, just a simple question that I have to ask please. I installed the system at home myself, and then just got an electrician to do the AC side for me and give me a COC. Likewise, at my son-in-law's houses, we followed the same procedure. What do I need to qualify as an installer, do you have to be an electrician or can I go for a certificate somewhere so that I can do it later? After my retirement of course, if possible. Can someone please point me in the right direction? And secondly, what does it mean when they say that someone is coming to inspect the system and sign it off? And is a COC alone sufficient or what else do you give to the client after the full installation is completed? Thank you.
