I have a problem with kodak inverter OG5.48. When I connect solar panel only without connecting to the grid. The inverter indicates 32 ⚠️ and no battery connection while battery is connected of 12V. 

 

But when I connect it to the grid without batteries and panels. The 32 ⚠️  is not appearing.

Is that not a 48 volt inverter?

Surely a typo?  If not, as @Buyeye said, this inverter needs a 48V battery.  Disconnect it asap, the battery might be already ruined.

You make your battery 48 volts by connecting four 12 volt batteries in series if you are using lead acid or gel.

If you are using lithium then it's best to use a 48 volt battery.
