Posted January 3, 20223 yr I HAVE A MECER 4KVA/5kva (SOL-1-AX-5P64). WITH A BLUE NOVA 12KW LITIUM BATTERY. I HAVE SET NO 12 FUNCTION CHARGER RECONNECT VOLTAGE AT 49 TO RECONNECT TO UTILITY. HOWEVER IT DOES NOT DO SO BUT WILL DISCHARGE TO AT TIMES 20 AND EVEN LESS BEFORE IT RECONNECT TO UTILITY TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY. ANY SUGGESTION TO HELP ME SOLVE THUIS PROBLE WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU DIR KOTZE
January 4, 20223 yr Sounds like you are having the opposite problem to that outlines in FAQ #2. But you might be able to use the hidden interaction between settings 12 and 29 to make the effective setting 12 voltage become a higher value, like 49.5 V. Assuming that you don't have patched firmware, the voltage delta will be 2.0 V, so try setting 29 at 47.5 V, making the effective setting 12 value 49.5 V. You can increase or decrease the voltage in tenths of a volt, whereas setting 12 has only whole volt values. You won't need setting 29 for its original purpose as the low battery voltage cut-off value, since the BMS should do this for you.

Hi @Coulomb, sorry for the silly question, but would it be fair to assume the same solution would work on the KODAK VMIII OG 5.48? I would like a finer control of my Back-to-grid point, so I will try to use Setting 29 like you described above to fine tune that point, if possible. My hardware: KODAK VMIII OG 5.48 Pylontech US3000C x2 If I select "PYLON" on the Inverter for battery type, the setting values differ significantly from your advised values you shared in other threads. I have tried going to USE and then changing the values, but as soon as I select PYLON, it just reverts those settings to it's default. So I'll just leave it on USE and see if I can get my Back-to-grid point under finer control. It currently only jumps back to grid at around 18%, which is a bit low for me. So I will try to get it to do the switch at around 25%. I would also like to bump this up even higher when the Loadshedding season starts again, just to ensure enough of a buffer for normal use.
