Friend bought a house in 2020 with an existing inverter and a 6kw 48 volt lithium-ion battery, plus 8 x PV panels

The inverter is a 8KVA unit and was recognised as a PIP-5048 unit.   It was noticed that despite there being 8 PV panels, the maximum power generated power from the panels was only 135 watts

The display on the panel shows that the load presented to the inverter is 8% (TV, fridge, some lights, computer)

SetSolar in Epping replaced the MPP charger board and now you can see 350 watts during the day.  The inverter is set to provide a float charge of 54V

Prior to having the inverter repaired, at random (twice a month) the circuit-breaker on the battery would switch itself off.   With the newly repaired inverter fitted, it lasted 5 days and again switched itself off

There does not seem to be much info on the battery, 3 pictures of which is shown here.  There are some indicator lights at the bottom, some DIP switches and 2 x RJ45 plugs

I measured the batteries inside and they are all between 4.6 and 4.7 volts

Any info will be most welcomed
