Posted January 28, 20223 yr Hi everyone I've just converted to pre-paid electricity and have a small problem. The unit in my house does not connect to the outside meter when my inverter is working. If I bypass the inverter and draw straight from the grid everything is fine. Has anyone had this problem that can share a solution? Thank you
January 28, 20223 yr The inverter filters out the powerline communication signal to the unit on pavement outside. I had the same problem and fixed it by wiring my meter to the Oven circuit, the only one before the inverter. Edited January 28, 20223 yr by Scubadude
January 28, 20223 yr @Scubadudeis correct, i plugged it into the double socket used for the tumble dryer, which is on the non essential circuit
January 28, 20223 yr Author Thanks guys. Seems I will need an electrician as I have no plugs on the grid side 😟
