Hi Guys

I have an RCT InfiniSolar V4 5.6K inverter, a Hubble AM-2 battery and a RIOT Cloudlink device. Whichever way I connect the inverter/battery to the Cloudlink, I'm only able to view the battery data on the Cloudlink monitoring dashboard, not the inverter data.

I tried inverter BMS port to Cloudlink S port, with the battery CAN port connected to the Cloudlink CAN port. This powered up the Cloudlink from the inverter, but no inverter comms, so only the battery data was seen on the dashboard.

I then connected the battery RS232 port to the Cloudlink S port and the inverter BMS port to the battery CAN port (suggested by Hubble). I had to cut a LAN cable and re-route the wiring since the CAN pinouts were not directly compatible between the battery and inverter, but this also proved fruitless, as only the battery data came through.

My battery type is set to User. I've tried the LIB and LIC settings but those give error 61 (comms lost) and usually goes into protection mode after 10mins.

Has anyone successfully connected this inverter to the Cloudlink for monitoring? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

@opteron47 did you ever figure out what was going on with your Cloudlink? I've got a SunSynk 5kW inverter but the same problem. I'm using the right Hubble cables - confirmed by Hubble, too - but I can't see any inverter/PV information. I can only access battery info.

I have the same issue

Seems you can't use a normal Ethernet cable to connect RIOT RS485 to Hubble RS485 - you need one that just has the minimum pins - A/B

I used the cable that came with the Riot. Shows connected and some info, but nothing on PV and Load. Sounds like it is a problem with the 5kW Sunsynk

Probably a problem with the settings on RIOT.

I much prefer Solar Assistant as it just works - pretty much gave up on RIOT.

I have the same issue with the exact same Inverter. Still no solutions anyone?

I also only get battery data. No inverter data.
