Hi,

I just had a quick question. I currently have a 1000W Axpert inverter that I am using a rasberry pi via the USB Type B port and python script to communicate with the inverter and do a bunch of things for me. I was looking at upgrading my system to an Axpert King. I just wanted to find out if they come with the same port and communication protocol for me to call the QPIGS function as I am currently doing?

It's quite similar. I think that there may be some more fields at the end of the King's QPIGS response, but basically the same.

I believe you'll have little trouble updating your software; it may even work without any modifications.

Thanks very much. I also wanted to confirm if the USB port will work. They seem to now come with a Micro USB that is used for updating firmware. Will the USB port also still work for communication with the Pi?

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. Can any owners confirm?
