Good day. I have 3 solar banks and 2 parallel 5kw inverters. Two of the solar banks/strings are connected in parallel and one is connected in series. When I connect an inverter to the solar bank which is connected in series, it functions perfectly and charges a connected battery exactly as it should, but when I connect an inverter to the two strings which are connected in parallel it only outputs 131 volts and no amps to the battery. What could cause this? I have checked the fuses and diodes of the solar panels.

You didn't say what make and model of 5 kW inverters.

I assume that this must be 2S or 3S, paralleled 2P or so. 131 V is higher than any panel I know can output, though they are changing quickly.

My guess is that 131 V is below the starting voltage for your inverters' MPPTs.

I have one mecer 5kw inverter paralelled with a 5kw kodak inverter. The series solar connection has always been connected to the kodak inverter and the two parallel solar banks have been connected to the mecer inverter. This setup has been running fine for over a year, but now just stopped working. I have checked the minimum input voltage. It is 120v.

Then it sounds like the Mecer's MPPT has stopped working. I don't know much about the higher voltage MPPTs, sorry.
