Battery terminolgy - what exactly is said?

Morning All,

Have done some Googling, but would appreciate the expert feedback on describing exactly what the following three items mean for the laymen to understand in terms of how their solar-inverter-battery backup system works:

(1) Battery shutdown capacity (e.g. 20%).

(2) Battery low capacity (e.g. 30%).

(3) Battery restart capacity (e.g. 50%).

Just how do the above three items actually work when using your batteries to supply load to the house?

My understanding is:

(1) Battery shutdown capacity (e.g. 20%) - when using the battery if the system gets to 20% then the batteries are shut down - no more discharge

(2) Battery low capacity (e.g. 30%) - alarm will sound at this % but continue to discharge

(3) Battery restart capacity (e.g. 50%) - the system will resume using the battery (after shutdown) at this %

So then if there is grid or solar, this will be used to charge the batteries again and will do so up to 50% at which time the batteries will start discharging again, and if there is no solar or grid, they will discharge back down again? Theoretically the cycle would be repeated?

(2) Battery low capacity (e.g. 30%) - alarm will sound at this % but continue to discharge

So only an alarm feature this?

(3) Battery restart capacity (e.g. 50%) - the system will resume using the battery (after shutdown) at this %

I think this is for when there is no grid - so when you are running on batteries only.

Normal running should be managed by the Work Mode settings (charging and discharging when grid or solar are available

I stand to be corrected though
