Lionel Kosny Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I am trying to set up the wifi on a 7.2 Max with no success, I manage to connect to the wifi hotspot the MAX creates quite easily, but the watchpower app just gets stuck on the screen which says: Connecting to the WiFi module. It does not actually connect to the wifi module so that I can enter the network settings to actually get the wifi module connected on the router. Am I missing something? Yes I am connected to exactly the same WiFi network as the serial number for the wireless device in question Quote
Lionel Kosny Posted April 5, 2022 Author Posted April 5, 2022 Hi guys I have found the answer to this question and thought I'd answer it on the forum for incase somebody else has the same problem The solution is to switch off your phone's mobile data, then and only then will it actually read the 7.2 Max's Wi-fi module. I am almost sure this is because then Android has no other option but to force all communication through the Wi-Fi hotspot, which in this case is the Inverter's Wi-Fi Mauritius B and Oliver in Spain 1 1 Quote
Deano86 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I’m facing the same issue and tried what @Lionel Kosnymentioned to try but I still keep getting the attached error when trying to connect WiFi when I’m connected to the inverter WiFi SSID. Quote
