NoordSolar Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 A friend of mine just had a Sunsynk 8KVA and 2x FreedomWon 10/8 installed, however the the two freedomwon batteries do not track each other , usually 10 -15 % apart but at times more than 50 % different . At full charge they both are 100% SOC . I'm too far away to go and check it out but am hoping someone has seen this phenomena before. Installer has been in contact with Freedom Won but between the two of them they cannot get this right/ Quote
iiznh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 I would guess different length & or size cables. Picture of the setup Quote

Installer has been in contact with Freedom Won but between the two of them they cannot get this right/ If I had to guess, the two batteries have (vastly) different internal resistence, the one with the lower internal resistance will discharge quicker compared to the other as it would be supplying most of the initial load. As the one with the lower resistence reaches its cut off SOC the other battery should slowly start catching up. Easy way to check is to draw a very small load from the batteries and monitor if both are actually discharging. Either that or faulty /incorrect connection NoordSolar 1 Quote
