Hi. I am new here so don't know if this is the correct section to post.

I am looking for repair manuals for the above mentioned inverters please.

I assume you mean 1200 VA, not 12200 VA. Look in the files section of this forum; there are several service manuals. There are fewer for the smaller models, but from memory at least one of them covers them.

That's assuming that we're talking about Axpert inverter models with Mecer branding. My understanding is that Mecer also put their brand on all sort of hardware: UPSs, computers, etc.

  • wigs changed the title to Mecer/ Lobo 1200va and 2400va

Hi guys, hope all you people are well. I have an mecer  Lobo 1200/ivr-1200LBKS. When unit is off grid(mains failure) battery is fully charged I measure 2amps on (battery) with no load and 3.6amps DC (on battery) with one energy savings lamp 16watt. I am sure the dc amps with bulb should be about 1.7amp. Any one that repair these inverters that can help me why is amps so high what component could be the problem.

The 2 amps is to convert 12V to 220V to provide power for when you plug something in. This 2A is pretty normal. Then this goes up by the load you switch on. If you don't want this 24/7 draw when there is no power just switch it off and switch on manually during no power periods. Even if off when there is power it will recharge the battery.
