We're on holiday in Spain. Muchos calor! The whole of W Europe is sweltering. 

In the UK, they have had problems with sub stations getting too hot, and railway tracks & overhead cables expanding beyond tolerance. 

Now google serves me up this. Which I think we kind of all knew, or should have inferred.
