Did anyone visit the Sandton Solar Trade Show?

I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of new panel suppliers; inverter suppliers and panel suppliers on the SA Market.

It looks like every importer is now bringing in new brands with not much knowledge or after sales service.

What was your experience like if you visited fair?

Hopefully heading there tomorrow to have a see. Hoping to chat to Sunsynk and Victron and then get a nice coffee too haha.

Will also head there tomorrow, to see what is happening. Should be a good look see. I think it's great that all the new stuff is on our shores. Makes for a competitive market for consumers. What would the world be without good coffee ☕ 😂

Last time I said we showed a monster with the 16 kW well this is the monsters big bro.

 

50,000 watt up to 10 in parallel for micro grid 1/2 Megawatt.

 

65,000 W MPPT

( max 800v 160 - 800 v DC Battery)

Over 99% efficient

Any idea on the pricing for this New Sunsynk 50 000 watt unit; they were very reluctant to give me a price at the show.

All in all I really enjoyed it. Once you cut the sales jargon and go for the technical stuff then you get results. Learnt a bunch and confirmed a bunch too. I was impressed and happy I went.

That 50KW is massive piece of machinery hahaha. Very awesome I must say! 

 

enjoyed the Goodwe and Solis stands as well.

My best was the long chats with DHEN. That is where I learnt the most and enjoyed it so so much. 

 

Asked the solar academy why people they train go and install solar when they are not registered electricians in particular wireman and not electrical contractors. there was some round about answers but in the end they don't vet the person, they offer a service.

Sapvia have released a statement thing I will try find stating the errors.
