Neo
Hi All, I have a 48V 5MKS that sometimes gets overdrawn into the beep zone. Was thinking of paralleling another unit and see the 5ks on special for R5670. Besides the missing MPPT - any reason not to parallel an MKS and a KS unit? thanks
Coulomb
The firmware has to be the same version number exactly on all paralleled machines, and I don't think that this is possible wirh an MPPT and a PWM model. So: probably not. Neo and ibiza

So: probably not. I would concur. the solar charger, whether MPPT or PWM is connected directly to the batteries via the DC bus. Chances are, they have some different calculations on the voltages and ampere so if you do manage to get this to work, the one will probably under charge the whole time, or not charge at all. OR, worst case, blow something up. Neo
