Looking for a alternative to the normal AGM/LA 12V battery that can work with a 12V inverter.

Brands I have been researching:

Hubble S-200

Revov 12V 200Ah

Mecer 12V 200Ah

Any experience and other recommendations

I have some Mecer 200Ah's. Also 2 S-100's. Both doing well but in use I feel the S-100's can provide more current for starting fridges. Just my feeling based on voltage sag difference between the 2.

What inverter would you then recommend to use for a small fridge, small tv and one light?

I will ask people using a specific inverter. The 1.2kW Axpert with a 2x short term capacity will work. I have heard that the 0.8kW Victron does work but that's about the only below 1kW that I know of. Years ago I had a 0.6kW brick inverter that worked sometimes.

The Changi/Topshak in 3kW labelled that is a 1.5kW full time rating works very well. That is the one I used as indicated in the other topic. It can start any fridge no matter if it is a large fridge. Another major plus is this inverter has no fan running below 300W load and also has a display that shows AC and DC volts and Watts to the load.

The last year these inverters went up a lot in price that without having a charger makes them expensive compared to say the 1.2kW Axpert that includes a charger as well as PV input.
