Good day All.

I am new to the site.

I need some advice. I have a Growwatt SPF 3500 ES & a Growwatt HOPE 3.3L-C1 Lithium Battery.

I stay on a farm that uses 3 phase power. This 3 phase power is split between 3 houses and the 4th house uses all three phases. Essentially 4 houses using one 3 phase supply.

I recently got an electrician mate of mine to connect it to the house to power only the essential circuits in my house (lights and plugs). Two separate DB Boards have been installed as per regulation with a change over from UPS to Eskom supply.

When the unit was first installed it worked perfectly, load shedding would start and the inverter would change over to battery and then when load shedding stopped it would change back to Eskom power and charge the battery.

After about a 3 or so weeks the inverter would start to trip the main Eskom meter. I would assume that it is sending some kind of power from the inverter back to the meter causing it to trip. I have to then use the change over to switch between the Eskom and inverter at all times of the night and day, then when power comes back switch it back. Very disturbing for the sleep.

When I change the change over to bypass the inverter the display still shows that it is pushing up to 0.5/0.7 percent back to the load side.

Can anyone help with settings / advice on what to do to get this unit working correctly and not send power back to the meter. I cant get solar panels connected until I have this issue sorted out.

I have attached an image of the meter that keeps tripping.
