I am new to this platform, so if I am posting in the on the wrong platform - my apologies. In any event, here is my challenge...

some working facts - I have a Main Db that is 3-phase, with an AC splitter. 2 of the phases are used elsewhere. Lights, geyser, hob & oven, wall plugs all working perfectly prior to inverter. I installed a 3Kw Sinerjy inverter with 2 x 100AH batteries.

I have a breaker on the MB that provides AC to the inverter. My neutral is connected on block prior to Main DB Earth Leakage. My live wire is before the EL. From the inverter on OUT, I have a sub DB with Mains, E/L and breakers for lights and plugs.

I connected everything and lights works perfectly. Only 3 lines I want essential on plugs. 1 line serves my kitchen island that also contains an induction plate. Ok, let me start here - this line's neutral was connected on the main DB before the E/L, yet when I connected before the E/L on the sub-DB, the E/L would trip. I then connected after the E/L on the sub-DB and voila!! Everything on the islands works! No tripping or over-loads..... I even made a quick meal during loadshedding!

The other 2 lines are serving the TV and internet upstairs and the TV downstairs. As always, I tested the lines independently and connected the neutral for the 2 lines after the E/L on the sub-Db. The moment I switch on the breaker on the sub-DB, both the E/L on the Main Board and on the Sub-DB trips. Urgh!!

My question - Is it possible that a neutral is somehow cross- connected on these 2 lines and are now linked to both the Main Board AND the sub-DB?

I would appreciate any and all insights.

There could be a live being fed from before your E/L's. Also you moved the 2 lines neutrals but without knowing it there could be a neutral left on the original neutral bar. Thus because the L and N is not balanced both E/L's detect it and causes them to trip.
