HI Ashley here new to the group and have a few questions please.

Is it better to have a 5kva luxpower inverter with 5.1kva dyness battery or a 3kva inverter with battery and solar panels.

What's the thoughts of acdc pre wired boards they have on special?

I'm in Parow any installers in the are that can assist with diy setup and guidance. Or even a decent quote to supply and install.

More information is required. What do you need to back up? What are your aims?

Do you just want to mitigate against load shedding, or do you want to save money on the meter? Or both?

The 5kva inverter can back up more. But if you have panels you can charge the battery cheaply, but you can't back up as much.

You can always add panels to the 5kva system. If you go for the 3kva system, you're stuck with that limit, unless you replace the inverter or add another.

Do some analysis first. What HAS to be backed up and how much do those circuits draw?

Then think about your own priorities. These are different for each of us.
