Hi guys I have a 5kva inverter the ac side is not working but the pv side is fine. What and how can I test to make sure that it is really the ac side.

Also who can repair it

Just power it up with a battery or bench power supply that is suitably beefy, no AC-in, no solar. After about 5-10 seconds there should be a click, and the front panel should show the battery connected to the inverter connected to the load, and around 230 VAC (you might have to press up or down several times to see the output voltage). If you have a small load connected, it should power up.

If it doesn't, there should generally be a fault code in the middle of the display.

If you're handy with electronics, you can. There are traced schematics for pretty much every part of this model.

If you don't do electronics, I believe that Mecer have a decent repair section. I'm not in SA, so I don't know any more than that.

Thank you for the response

I'm not sure if this inverter will come on with just a battery source but I will give it a go.

I am handy with electronics do you know where I can find the schematics.? Or what to search for to get it?
