Posted January 9, 20232 yr Can anyone help me. I bought "a solar system" from Pegasus Systems. I had to return a few components which were returned to the supplier. I was supposed to get a refund from Pegasus Systems. To date I have received nothing. Every time I try to phone the company there is no reply or they are unavailable. I have noted that the Power Forum and Pegasus telephone numbers are the same. When I look at the website it says that they are open . It is very frustrating that I can't get hold of them. Is this company legit?
January 9, 20232 yr Dear @Heinz Terribly sorry for your frustration. Steve. Andre, Cornelia and wimpie are still having a break. And to return as the site indicates. I will be happy to assist you with your refund. Please PM me your details and amount for the refund so I can do it right away. sincerely Jason
January 9, 20232 yr Author I was expecting a refund from the Power Forum Store. This morning I contacted Jason and had an immediate response. The money is now in my account. This what I call exceptional service. It is assuring to know that there is someone out there whose word can be trusted. No empty promises. I installed five 455w JA solar panels, 5kw LuxPower inverter and 5 Kw GreenRich battery as suggested by Steve. The installer is from Wartburg in KZN. Just had a little bit of trouble getting the battery to talk to the inverter. However once we had the right cable everything fell into place. The system is working well. Have moved the geyser and stove to Escom otherwise everything else works from the panels and battery. We seem to have hit the right combination as we have not had to change anything. Fridges are running off the system as well as airfryer, microwave, kettle, iron, pressure cooker, TV and lights. Don't even know when there is an outage. The bonus is I saved R300 on my electricity bill last month even though we had a lot of rainy days. Thanks Jason Heinz
January 9, 20232 yr Thanks so much. I'm glad your system is working well! Thank you for the kind words. Apologies again for any frustrations caused. The Christmas period... Sincerely Jason
