Good afternoon All

I trust that you are all well.

I am busy finalizing an installation and I have the following questions regarding the Axpert type inverters listed below in parallel and the BSL Bull LiFePO4 batteries listed below in parallel.

KODAK MAX 7.2kW 48V Off-Grid Inverter  or
KODAK 10kW 48V Off-Grid Inverter  or
MCE Axpert MAX E 11kW-48V Off-Grid Inverter

BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 5kWh 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery
BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 5.32kWh 104Ah LiFePO4 Battery
BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 6.4kWh 125Ah LiFePO4 Battery
BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 7kWh 135Ah LiFePO4 Battery
BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 8.2kWh 160Ah Stubby LiFePO4 Battery
BSL Bulls 48V (51.2V) 8.8kWh 172Ah Stubby LiFePO4 Battery

A] Can the Axpert type Inverters listed above communicate with any of the BSL Bull LiFePO4 batteries listed above?

B] Where can I get a datasheet for the 8.8kWh Stubby LiFePO4 Battery?

Kind Regards

the short answer is no the BSL bms doesn't speak to the inverter be it kodak, rct,Mecer any of the Voltronic types. Do note the Max does support CANBUS but still wouldn't talk to the BSL via canbus

I have two identical setups.  RCT 8Kw Max with 2 x 7.2 kwh BSL's

using Solar Assistant to monitor both but at the end of the day the inverter dictates what's happening to the batteries.

I spoke to RCT and they are willing to talk to BSL, but at this stage its seems BSL would prefer to cater for the blue brand and not our generic type inverters. The BSL guys are very helpfull if you need setup info.

also shop around I had price differences of up to Rk10 per battery

Zargh! Just when I was about to pair an Axpert VM III 5000-48 with a BSL 5kWh LFP battery - B-LFP48-100E

The next logical question to ask is which battery brand talks to Axpert inverters via the RS-485 BMS port?

Can confirm that Dyness BX51100 works with the Mecer Axpert units over RS-485
