Posted March 28, 20232 yr I have installed a Growatt SPF 5000 inverter with two Leoch 48100 batteries as a loadshedding backup system. now for the past three weeks, the batteries have shut down in the early hours of Monday morning. Time is almost exactly the same each time. The inverter is set Lithium iron through the can connection. Has anybody experienced something similar? Please advise which way forward
March 28, 20232 yr What is the SOC of the batteries when it shuts down? What is your DC cut off voltage set to in program setting 21 ? What is the power saving mode set to in program code 04 ? You should set that to dlS (disabled). Trust that the program codes are the same as for the 5000ES model.
March 28, 20232 yr After loadshedding? Meaning was it used during the night? Check settings as per @zsde

SOC between 80% and 100% DC cut off @ 44V will check power saving mode, never changed it from default.

March 28, 20232 yr You are saying this happens only on Monday mornings at the same time? Are there any program settings for your inverter that allow conditionally setting something by day of week and time? If so, then that would be a potential lead.
March 30, 20232 yr Hi Geoff, I have the sane system and I am experiencing the same problem. My Leoch battery is however shutting down at random times, sometimes fully charged. Have you managed to sort out your issue? Can you give me some advise?
