Hi All,

Struggling a bit to setup a system, have a luxpower sna5000 connected to the revov R100.

Very hard to find latest accurate information on the inverter or the battery. The latest known information:

Battery dip switch (1 up, the other 3 down)

Battery code: 20 for revov

Inverter has a blue dip switch next to the parallel comms ports thus I beleive it is the newer pinout configuration.

Trying to do CAN communication between the inverter and battery

Inverter - pin 4 - CAN H

Inverter - pin 5 - CAN L

Battery - pin 4 - CAN H

Battery- pin 5 - CAN L

with this setup i get a warning 00 (no communication) but If i switch battery code to something like code 2 (pylon) then I seem to get some comms such as seeing a SOC but I get a warning 04.

Anyone that can guide me on how to communicate between a luxpower sna5000 and revov R100 or at least help me understand the revov pinouts for CAN or RS485?

I can’t get the communication set between the two

My installer never did the programming 🙈

Hi @Hendry, I'm no expert but I have the same inverter with a Ultra Energy battery that doesn't communicate. I have been given a software to fix the issue but skeptical to do it as I fear bricking my battery. For now, I have my battery set to Lead Acid. This allows me charge batteries and still benefit from the system.  See my settings and maybe it could solve your problem, if you haven't come right already. I also have watched a lot of the installer training on YouTube and used it to fine-tune my system to work the way I want it.

You would need to have the correct cable, and the newer SNA has a different coms cable. If you have other cables from other manufacturers such as a Growatt,Deye cable try using that cable.

Hi guys I have a problem of battery inverter communication I bought luxpower sna 5000watts inverter and hubble battery am2. What could be the problem

 

Did you manage to fix the comms between the lux inverter and the r100 ? I'm looking to buy one but I'm not sure if it's compatible with my revov battery... if you got it right what setting did you use. Help would be appreciated 🙏
