Hi

I have a question or rather seeking some advice.   I have an axpert king inverter, it worked flawlessly until I moved house.  Now if I connect the batteries without mains it reads the voltage correctly,  ie display and voltmeter on the battery reads the same voltage,  but as soon as I connect mains, the inverter reads battery voltage as 30.5v even though batteries are reading 26.6v on voltmeter.  Now whats happening is that the inverter pulls load from battery to get voltage down I assume,  but it stays at 30.5v on inverter and runs the battery dead then goes into bypass when battery bms switch the battery off.  Is this a faulty inverter or does anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance

Is it still 26.6 V on the voltmeter when the mains connects? Maybe utility charging is enabled, and the voltage shoots up.

But utility charging takes 10-20 seconds to ramp up. If the voltage reading really does shoot up immediately (less than a second after connecting AC-in), then it can't be utility charging.

It's not sounding good. But maybe I'll think of something when I'm not so tired.
