Good day , I have two by 8 PV Strings. On PV1 I get 50 % less output voltage compared to PV 2. When I change PV1 string with PV2 input on the inverter  ,I get the correct input. And the PV2 string into the PV 1 input on the inverter then drops to 50% compared to the input at PV 2.

Any ideas on what is causing this. Is the PV1 input on the inverter having a problem?Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like it.

Maybe a loose connection inside the inverter? Does the PV1 input seem to get hot? Though it might be further inside the inverter.

The inverter was now replaced with new and the new unit is working perfectly. Issue on the PV1 input on the inverter.
