Can any of the clever political commentators shed some light on this disturbing statement :)
And how do you think they will try and do this to us.
I know this oke is not the brightest politician yet appointed, but as we saw previously these oke's can come along and make crazy stupid regulations.

NOT THAT I CARE MUCH, my solar system is working great without eskom.

The light I wanted to shed, seems that they will be already doing that now LOL

 

I did see an article pop up on my google feed about a stage 11, likely that is due to the power station efficiencies. 
Though, that doesn't really answer your question. I have no clue.

Instead of securing from neighbors, why not reduce the export to those neighbors?

Do they want us to believe that household demand is the largest portion of power usage? Surely the industrial and factory related sectors consume a lot more power? But I suppose it's easier for them to take aim at the soft targets.

Agreed that households are not the majority. Of course there is the whole, balancing the economy/industry etc
