orza
I have a 3kVA Lalela inverter https://www.takealot.com/lalela-hybrid-inverter-24v-3000va-3000w-pure-sine-wave-inverter-/PLID91301497 (generic / clone of Synapse or Axpert), wired into my DB. When I am in bypass mode and Eskom power is coming in (not on battery mode), if I run a large load, like the kettle and microwave at the same time, it will trigger an overload error (07) and trip the inverter, which I can only reset via hand reset. I also have automatic reset after overload enabled, but this doesn't seem to do the trick. I am wondering if there is a problem with the inverter or if I need to install an external automatic changeover switch like this. I am told by someone at Lalela that it is likely a settings issue and an external changeover switch should not be required. I have a manual changeover already and am looking to avoid the extra tinkering if I can.
