Shawn B2
Hi i have an existing system installed 7 years ago - i want to top up panels - instead of buying new - looking for new or 2ns hand enersol 250w panels
GreenFields
Just a thought - I did something similar in the last year, and upgraded my system of 250W panels. I ended up going for Jinergy 275W new panels (could consider Mecer or similar), which were very close in size and spec - just a little wider, but you'd hardly recognise it. The benefit of these for you is that you would effectively get them at a 25% discount - that's the minimum size of panel to qualify for a tax rebate. As opposed to buying 5-year old panels second-hand with perhaps not enough price discount versus new.
Shawn B2
Thanks GreenFIelds - Wasn't intending to spend more money to update current set-up, i have 3.75KW which works well, however i understood i cant add other panels so was really just wanting to increase by adding similar panels for compatibility. Shawn B2
Hi chrisc - to get anyone to help now during this high demand time is a struggle (As my guy who installed it is just not responding and others i have tried is unreliable - I'm in Cape Town yes - so if you do get this down let me know - i will male a plan to collect. chrisc
They are fixed to the channels with those anti-theft clips. I do have several part-time guys working for me who do solar jobs. We'll have to figure out a way to get them off. I'm thinking of two shaped pieces of steel to tap into the channel to release the clips and ease it off. Probably just do 2 at a time Lastly, how much did you want to pay? And, can you collect? I am in Plumstead New ones are going to cost R2600 each
