Luxpower wifi setup (likely applies to other brands too)

So my reason for posting this is because my poor installer struggled for hours to get my inverter setup on my network and he couldn't get it right, he left me with the instructions and when I followed them (as an IT technician) I was able to figure out what was wrong and I fixed it. Then I ran my fix by the staff at Voltex and they never knew about it either so were most grateful because they had the opportunity to test it within an hour of me telling them.

Basically my home router was setup for WPA2/WPA3 security and the dongle would connect but only for like a split second, it was like the handshake was there but failing. I set it to WPA/WPA2 and now it connects just fine. It may seem simple, may be a fix that some people already knew about but I couldn't find it posted on this forum hence me posting it here now since I only did this about a week or 2 ago.
