Posted May 13, 20241 yr Hi, I'm running a Sol-a-ix-8m 8kw Mecer Inverter with 3 x Hubble AM-2 batteries using Solar Assistant. I've had Solar Assistant connected for a long time now and decided to get into Home Assistant as a side project. My problem is that I have NO idea how to connect Solar Assistant to Home Assistant....... I've followed all the instructions on the Solar Assistant site and NOTHING works! I managed to set up the MQQT broker on Home Assistant so it says its working but when I try to get SA to speak to it, it just won't! Anyone have a simple, easy to explain method I can use? My level is VERY basic! From scratch if possible? Thanks in advance.
May 14, 2024May 14 Hi Bean, If you had followed all the instruction on the SA site I can only ask if you allocated a static IP address for your solar assistant in your Router?
