MPPT module firmware required

I'd say that this is a PWM solar charger, not an MPPT solar charger.

I don't have much to do with these smaller models.  I believe that the only PWM solar charge controller firmwares that I have are 03.20 and 06.09. I don't know how to tell the differences in these.

What is the present SCC firmware version? I think it will appear as U2 on your display.

Is  there anything readable on the sticker over the processor?

These are a bit tricky to flash program. Are you sure you really need to update the firware? These two firmwares are quite old: 2014 and 2020, according to the hex (.s19) file dates.

It looks like you've already tried 03.20, though you didn't say exactly how it failed. It's quite tricky updating SCC firmware; you need to do some registering of a binary device driver or some such; read the instructions carefully. It's nowhere near as easy as main firmware updating.

The following has main firmware version 15.61 and SCC firmware version 03.20; these seem to be different to yours. So I'd give it about a 5% chance of working at all, and about a 1% chance of fixing the solar charger. But if you're desperate:

KS_1_3k_1561 0320.zip

Similarly this one has 12.30 main and 06.09 solar charger:

KS_5K_12.30 06.09.zip

Good luck; that machine seems like a poorly made clone or workalike to me. Even the display segments are different to that of Axperts. So I'm afraid that your prospects are dim.
