Hi,

I am trying to understand the parallel connection of these two types of inverters.

Is it possible to maybe upload some photos of the actual installations you guys have done on parallel configurations, showing the AC and DC wiring and also communications connections between the inverters and DB’s etc?

Thanks.

Here you go:

MCB1-4 are standard AC breakers (HAGER).
DB1-2 are 160A fuse switch disconnector (OEZ).
Each PV string has a surge protection and fuse too (not shown in the diagram).

Comm and current sharing cables are connected exactly as described in the manual:

nice setup.

I have installed 2x 10kw and have a Error 72 coming up.
also when we load the system with 10 single phase airons, it goes into overload and shuts down.

i heard it could be something related to phase angle rotation?
Any assistance please?

Hi i removed the current sharing cables and reinserted.

then checked continuity between each pin to pin with the parallel connections.

I heard it could be reversed phased perhaps?

Update***
Seems the input AC mains cable had a "hot connection". We opted to use 16mm cable instead of 10mm or 8mm.

After rewiring the AC cable and connector, system is producing some good power.

We measured 11kwp on all 3 strings on a cloudy day so not bad. Hopefully tomorrow is clear to see if we can obtain 15kw from a 15kw system.
