Posted March 17, 20196 yr Hi Forum This morning I put the batteries on charge because they were low and I had to work and there was no sun. I have Axpert 5 Kva 3 KW pv and the 2x Pylontech US 300 Batteries At around 10am the whole system crashed. I have had this happen before with the charger on and the sun comes out and once the batteries are full it all crashes. I was only using about 750w and the sun had come out. The system crashed and once I did a full shutdown and restart I saw that the batteries were full. I suspect the change over on the Axpert from grid to solar in full sun is the cause. If I charge at night I haven't had a problem. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas as to why it happens? Thanks Rob
March 17, 20196 yr I am thinking that your combined PV and Utillity charge is set too high... Check your "Max charging current with Utiity" and "Max charging current to battery"
March 17, 20196 yr Author Thanks for the reply GVC. It only happens when the batteries are full and at the automatic change over from grid
March 17, 20196 yr What is your battery bank size? Do you have any monitoring? What are your inverter settings?

Do you perhaps mean that it entered a fault state, flashing a fault code? Usually the buzzer comes on for this, and the red fault LED comes on. It would be very helpful to know the fault code, if this is the case.
March 18, 20196 yr Hi I have an Axpert 3kva ,which has the error code 6 .This occurred when load shedding started . The unit chargers the batteries and when Eskom comes back on line it switches to Eskom however when there is no Eskom ,it beeps continuesly.
March 18, 20196 yr Author Hi Coulomb The system cut all output power and the inverter was buzzing. Unfortunately I didn't check the error code. I can't find anything on the ICC software about the problem either.
