As per the topic, Apexium / Apex is out of business. They fired the lady I used to deal with here in South Africa, and their e-mail's address for Apexmall & Apexiumtech goes unanswered. Previously I was able to contact her for help and she will contact the necessary engineers and provide feedback.

I bought an Apex 48V 200A BMS, 16 months ago, with 16s 280AH Eve LifePo4. Due to "life happening", I was only able to connect it last week.

As per the Apex instruction sheet, it reads, that you have to flash the firmware of the unit to the version provided. I did this, and it prompted "Successfully". However, afterwards I'm unable to connect to the BMS via Serial or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth shows active and I can see it, however all methods of comms timeout. I even tried to reflash it on 9600 BAUD, hoping it will use that as a failover, but no luck.

There is no use for a 5 year warranty, if the company no longer functions and I read on some threads on here, people have the same issue with the equivalent Seplos, where it shows successfully flashed, but then has issues afterwards.

Does anyone please have a work around to get the BMS "going again", like a hack in the bootloader, or other means. It still shows in my Cerbo GX, however no direct access.

On one of the firmwares you have to keep trying to connect to over Bluetooth. Keep selecting it over and over and it will eventually connect.
