Leonvd1983
Hi I need help I cant seem to get my Axpert inverter to use generator power to charge batteries while using available solar and battery power to run the Load. What settings need to be set ?

What settings need to be set ? Unless it's an Axpert King, it can't be done. The utility battery charger is the inverter "run in reverse". So while utility or generator charging, the inverter is busy charging the battery and can't use solar power to supply the load. It's just a limitation of the Axpert design. While generator charging, the battery can charge from both generator and solar, so if it can take it (e.g. it's a large lithium battery), then you can charge the battery quickly and switch the generator off sooner to utilise the solar energy. If you really need the generator to only charge the battery, then you'll need a separate battery charger, and don't connect the generator to AC-in of the inverter. Youda
AFAIK, when charging from genset(or utility) the axpert is in bypass mode, so the loads are still running. Am I right?
