Guest
I saw that this morning. That article started me on thinking that the people in charge does not know the difference between live and neutral, so they keep on stalling / talking / promising i.e. "new cities" to keep focus away from their complete and utter ignorance being the one and only shareholder of a large electricity company. On top of that they probably are too scared (I hope) or too arrogant (even worse) to acknowledge that they have failed absolutely and completely therefor they cannot dare acknowledge any possible weakness by allowing smaller guys like L'Ormarins Wine Estate and others, to help working towards a better solution for all. DeepBass9
The function of government is not to facilitate, it is to obstruct and obfuscate, obscure, confuse, blur, muddle, jumble, complicate, garble, cloud, befog and generally muddy the waters.. ibiza, root, seant and 1 other

Load shedding: Yes or No? We don't need to know about gas turbines and their maintenance, that is for Eskom to deal with. We just want the power from any source reliably. PJJ
You think that is bad, wait till you realize how much biomass is burnt daily that could have been turned into electricity.
seant
Didn't Sweden do just that, burnt all their plastics waste. And in Brasil a large portion of their land fills are wrapped up to extract methane which is either used for heating /cooking and some produces electricity. There are so many options but well yes. There are many solutions yes, sadly no go go juice in govt to get us moving, I live in a area with lots of sawmills and woodworking being done, the amount of wood that is just burned daily doing nothing but providing shiny flames is just a damn shame, every time I drive past seeing the fires I just think: How much KW is burning over there? DeepBass9
Once you have realised how to harvest that energy, it all seems so obvious. Difficult to change people,s mindset though.
