viceroy
This afternoon, I purchased ICC Pi V2, rushed home in order to install, and then remembered my Axpert MKS 4kW has a serial port... How do I connect it to the Pi? With the old AICC on PC, I used a serial to USB adaptor, but this doesn't work on the Pi. Any advice on what device might work? viceroy
Thanks for the response @Quat Allah Al Shams, but doesn't really help. As mentioned, my Axpert has no usb port at all, only a serial RS232 port. I did come right though, a reboot of the Pi, and changing the setting to serial, and the Sunix Serial to USB cable started working, which really surprised me as it was quite fussy when I used it with a PC. The new inverter only had a USB connection and I needed a connection for my remote display . Removed the com's board from the old inverter and fitted it to the new inverter . Hope this info can help you .
