Hi can anyone please help l have an AXpert 5000 and it doesn’t seem to charge from the grid when the batteries are flat also there are 2 inverters in a pair and one has ( S L ) in the middle of the screen at the top and the other has (H S ) or ( H 5 )  many thanks Steve

It would be your settings. Check settings 12, 13, 29 (ensure that setting 29 is at least 2.0 V less than setting 12). Also setting 16 should be SNU or CUt (might be called something different on your model, there are many Axpert 5 kVA models).

That's normal for paralleled inverters. One is a SLave, the other is the MaSter; they can't show an 'M' in 7 segments so they show a 'H' instead.

Wouldnt snu charge at the same time thus reducing the pv production? Perhaps cso is the better option?

Just a thought.

Yes. Sorry, I rarely fiddle with the actual settings these days; Node Red does that for me, and uses more user-friendly terms.

What is node red?

https://nodered.org/

It's a graphics based way of writing code for Linux machines, aimed at instrumentation. It runs on a BeagleBone Black (similar to a Raspberry Pi).

Here is one of my screens, shrunk:

Edit: the above is all custom software, based on a home-made battery management system (LyteFyba). It doesn't come "out of the box" like that.
