Posted January 29, 20205 yr Hi all, I'd like to connect a number of unmatched solar panels and I know it's not ideal but it's what I have until I can afford new panels. They are 4 x 100W 24V and 1 x 335W 48V panels and they're to go into a Victron 100/50 MPPT charger. What is the best way to connect them, in a parallel/series type array? 2S x 2P 100W parallel to 1S 335W or 3S 100W parallel to 1S 335W?
February 4, 20205 yr Hi every one I have vmii 5kw inverter and 6 no of pv panels 4 of them are 275wp(voc 38v imp 8A) canadian solar mono and 2 are 400wp(voc 48 imp 9.8A) risen mono perc.If i connect them in series will be there any power loss due to unmatching between them?how much ampere will flow in wire in max.
