Andrew P Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Hi Guys I know City of Tswane and City of Cape Town are allowing SSEG's to feed electricity back into the grid and crediting various amounts per unit. Does anyone know of anywhere else in SA where this is allowed? Quote
GreenFields Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Nelson Mandela Bay has SSEG. But don't call it selling excess electricity to Eskom. Not even sure that's legal. You have to remain a net consumer, although you can offset your import and export with the grid at various times. Quote
Louisvdw Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 One forum member created a calculator for ROI and that has a bit of a list of the SSEG areas. Abdul Gool 1 Quote
